The RSA Americas Credo – Our Code of Professional Responsibility

RSA Americas is a professional company practicing retained executive search. The RSA Americas Consultants' Code of Professional Responsibility, as follows, has been accepted and endorsed by all company employees.

  1. RSA Americas Consultants will place client interests ahead of Firm interests. RSA Americas Consultants will adhere to the highest standards of truthfulness, integrity and trustworthiness.
  2. RSA Americas Consultants will maintain in confidence the private information of client organizations and sensitive opinions of individuals within client organizations.
  3. RSA Americas Consultants will maintain an independent position, being ready to differ with the client executives and to tell them the truth as we see it, even though that may adversely affect Firm income or endanger continuance of the relationship.
  4. Client Organization: We define a Client Organization as the entire entity. This includes headquarters plus all divisions and wholly owned subsidiaries.
  5. Two-Year Off-Limits: We will not recruit from a Client Organization for two years after completion of an executive search assignment.
  6. Successful Candidates Off-Limits Forever: We will never recruit a candidate whom we have placed in a Client Organization as long as she/he is employed by that company or organization.
  7. Parallel Candidate Presentation: We will not present a candidate simultaneously to more than one client. This permits our firm to represent one Client Organization without any conflicts of interest.
  8. Client Conflicts: We will disclose to our client the names of organizations that are "Off-Limits" that logically would be target companies on the new search assignment.
  9. Deceptive/Misleading Research: Neither we nor a subcontractor will use deceptive or misleading research techniques.
  10. Resume Floating: We will not "float" resumes to companies with the intent of receiving a fee if that individual is hired. Outplacement Services: We will not provide outplacement consulting services on a fee basis.
  11. By completing effectively each of these responsibilities, we will provide our clients with great value as a professional Company, and we will provide ourselves with great satisfaction and a professional career.
