Tony qualified in Applied Biology, and worked originally for Pfizer Central Research in Sandwich in the area of Histopathology, followed by time in CNS Pharmacology. He then worked for Beecham Research Laboratories in in vitro pharmacology, including pioneering radio-iostopic methodology. This was followed by progressive UK and European Sales and Marketing positions, with Miles/Ames Europe, the Searle Group, and Sherwood Medical Industries. This period gave him experience of clinical diagnostics, laboratory instrumentation, fine chemicals and medical devices.

He moved into the recruitment sector over 30 years ago, joining Talentmark to establish their presence in Marketing and Commercial areas, working at middle to senior management levels. He has handled all types and levels of Commercial posts up to Managing Director/Chief Executive/President in the UK and internationally, particularly in Western Europe. This has encompassed all sectors of the healthcare field, but with greatest depth in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and also including service organisations and CROs

As Executive Director of Talentmark, he was a key member of the management team that achieved an MBO from the founder and owner of Talentmark. He recently joined RSA as co-Director of their newly established central London operation and as Head of the General Management Practice. His prime focus is on senior level searches in the Commercial sector, but he also handles search assignments in other areas including Financial, Legal, HR and Manufacturing.

Tony holds Fellowships of the Institute of Directors, the Chartered Management Institute, and the Institute of Marketing, where he is also a Chartered Marketer
