Foster Partners was established as the successor to KPMG Peat Marwick’s U.S. Executive Search practice. In 1989, Peat Marwick LLP, in the interest of client independence, elected to divest the firm’s executive search practice to a buy-out group led by Dwight E. Foster. On 2nd January 1990, Foster Partners officially began operations.

In order to further develop and manage its executive search business in Asia, Foster Partners Asia was formed in 1999 and in 2006, Foster Partners took the next step and evolved the practice, moving its global headquarters to Shanghai, PRC to better service clients entering the China market.

Seeing the growth potential of Life Sciences in China, a joint venture between RSA and Foster Partners was forged in January 2009.

Airports

From Hong Qiao International Airport (20 minutes by car)

Go to the international arrival gate then straight down the road towards the Yan An Highway. Look out for the Jiang Su Road exit towards Yan An Xi Road and go straight till Tong Ren Road. Turn left to Nanjing Xi Lu. Turn left to Xikang Bei Lu. Turn right to Plaza 66 entrance.

From Pudong Airport (45 minutes by car)

Go to the international arrival gate 14 then straight and head out to the Outer Ring Road and look out for Luo San Road exit. Go straight and turn left on Long Dong Road towards Nan Pu Bridge. Go down the Inner Ring Road to Nan Bei Highway and Yan An Highway. From Yan An Highway, look out for Hua San Road exit. Turn right to Jin An Temple which is on Nanjing Xi Lu. Turn left to Xikang Bei Lu. Turn right to Plaza 66 entrance.
