The life sciences industry is picking up in Asia

The life sciences industry in Asia is picking up. Looking at the growth in the industry we do see an opportunity of growth for our business. The companies are expanding their operations and investing in Asian region with Singapore being the hub," said Ms Laura Thomas, Managing Director, RSA Singapore.

Speaking to BioSpectrumAsia, Ms Laura Thomas said, "Considering the above facts we have opened an expanded office. This will help us to look for increasing our head count in next three months. During last year, besides Singapore, we have offered our services to companies in Vietnam, Philippines, Japan, Thailand, India and Australia."

In the Asia-Pacific region, RSA Singapore sees opportunity in both public and private sectors associated with all areas of life sciences such as medical devices, diagnostics, pharmaceutical, clinical research and academics, hospitals.

"The life sciences market in countries like Korea, Japan and India is growing. This growth opens up an opportunity for companies like us to offer executive search services. We are keen on opening offices in these markets provided we continue to see the growth in near future" said Ms Laura Thomas.
