RSA launches first register of Non-Executive Directors exclusively for life sciences

RSA have launched the UK's first register of Non-Executive Directors dedicated wholly to the life sciences.

Identifying independent, experienced and authoritative Non-Executive Directors can be a major challenge to even the most well-established pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.

RSA's new register brings together the small, but powerful, niche community of Non-Executive Directors. The register will facilitate networking, produce research into the challenges and opportunities of Non-Executive Directorship, and place qualified individuals into Board vacancies with life sciences companies (within both the public and private sector).

RSA CEO Nick Stephens said: "Against a backdrop of increasingly stringent regulation and compliance, today's Non-Executive Directors must work even harder to maintain their independence and successfully oversee corporate governance. While their roles have never been more critical, they have also never been more complicated."
