RSA: Scrip Awards

RSA recognises pharma's achievements by continuing to support the Scrip Awards.

RSA, a leading provider of executive recruitment, interim management and consulting to the global life sciences sector, has announced that it will lend its long-term support to the Management Team of the Year category at the annual Scrip Awards.

After the second Scrip Awards ceremony that took place in London in November 2006, host Gyles Brandreth claimed: “The world [of pharma] now has the Scrip Awards written on its heart.” It seems this is true of entrants, attendees and sponsors alike.

Nick Stephens, CEO of RSA, said today: “At RSA we recognise the quality of Scrip's readership and content and we are delighted to continue to sponsor the Scrip Awards.”

RSA has supported the Scrip Awards since its launch in 2005, rewarding teams from Wyeth for two years running. The pharma company’s Research Discovery Review Board was named Management Team of the Year in 2005 and its Research and Development Executive Committee took the prize the following year. It remains to be seen who RSA will present with the award at the 2007 ceremony, which will take place in the London Hilton on Park Lane on December 4th.

The entry kit for the 2007 Scrip Awards will be launched in the April 27th issue of Scrip World Pharmaceutical News. Judges will reward a team that is truly much more than the sum of its parts. They will be looking for strong performance across a number of criteria, such as achievement of short and long-term goals, financial probity, and good communication of a shared vision.

RSA sees this award as an excellent fit with its business. Mr Stephens explained: “Over the years, RSA has hired many industry leaders and helped them build high performance teams, and we are keen to support and acknowledge their efforts through the Management Team of the Year Award."

Over 25 years, RSA has built up an esteemed network of industry contacts and a reputation for delivering quality services. The company has expanded significantly in recent years, opening up a number of new offices throughout Europe. RSA Singapore opened last autumn and further global development is planned for later this year including a new office in the US.
