RSA boosts UK and European operations with flurry of appointments

RSA has made a number of senior consultant appointments, strengthening its offices in the UK and Germany.

Marc Lambert has joined as a consultant in the science and medicine practice. Marc was a postdoctoral research scientist and has spent 14 years in academia and industry, the last seven with UCB in Cambridge where he was developing biological assays. "Moving from the lab to recruitment might seem like something of a quantum leap, but it feels right," Marc said. "I had been involved with placements, academic seminars, business development and networking, and the people side of work started to become more important to me, so working with RSA was a good move for me."

Dafydd Wright joins RSA Interims as a consultant. Dafydd graduated in applied biological science from the University of the West of England, Bristol. He has spent nearly five years recruiting scientists for permanent and contract positions. He said: "I was looking for a new challenge with a company with the right ethos and high standards. Interim management is growing in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and I am looking forward to using my experience in this new area."

Stewart Kay has joined RSA’s sales and marketing practice. Previously Stewart was a commercial development director. He said: "I have spent 20 years in life sciences sales and marketing and have loved it, but it was time for a career change. I have a good network of contacts within the industry and I will be drawing on these in my work at RSA."

RSA’s Frankfurt office has been boosted with two appointments. Monika Duerk has joined as a search and selection consultant. Monika, who has almost 10 years’ experience in recruitment and management consultancy, said: "It’s a great opportunity to be working for a company with such a strong reputation and I am looking forward to using my expertise at RSA." The second appointment is Mara Estenfelder, who has joined as a researcher, and brings the German operation total to nine members of staff.
