Chris Rayner
Senior Consultant; RSA Switzerland

Chris joined RSA AG in Switzerland in November 2011 and comes with a long history in the Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Life Science industries. Originally trained as a scientist Chris spent his early years as a R&D chemist before moving to R&D project management involved with planning and resourcing drug discovery and development activities.

From R&D Chris moved into the commercial sector to head up the European based activities of a joint UK Japanese joint venture between Fisons and Fujisawa. During this time he gained considerable first hand experience in dealing with all aspects of business from the D part of R&D right through to ensuring timely deliveries of goods to the customer.

Following a company takeover of Fisons, Chris lived and worked in Paris for a year before taking some time out to study for an MBA. He then joined Fujisawa in their London office becoming responsible for Marketing activities of their product range sold across Europe through distributors and co-marketing partners.

In 2000 Fujisawa restructured their operations to Germany and Chris moved to Switzerland to lead the Marketing activities for a small healthcare company offering a clinic based treatment for skin disease along with a range of skin care products.

Since that time Chris has also worked for a start up company that was a spin out from the University of Bern dealing with progenitor skin cells and provided consultancy to a wide range of companies. He has also had experience of Executive search prior to joining RSA working with the MRI franchise.

As a Senior Consultant at RSA Chris has wealth of experience to offer from R&D, Commercial, Sales and Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QA/QC, and Regulatory.
