David joined RSA’s Commercial practice in 2011 in order to consolidate his experiences to date and help develop RSA’s Commercial business offering.

Following a Medicinal Chemistry degree from Manchester and a GSK funded Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from Durham, David co-founded a University of Durham spin-out company where he held a Director role for several years. He later moved into Accountancy Practice in a top seven firm within the Audit department.

In 2007, David moved into Professional Recruitment for a global organisation, focussing on the London area. He specialised in recruiting Finance positions up to Finance Director level across a range of sectors. He then moved to a rapidly growing Search & Selection firm in the City, recruiting primarily into capital intensive businesses.
