Matt Ryans, MEng ACA
Finance Director RSA

Matt is Finance Director of RSA and is responsible for the financial management of the Group and the reporting of financial and operational performance to the Management team.

He joined RSA as Interim Financial Controller in 2007 and was appointed Finance Director in 2009.

Before joining RSA, Matt trained firstly as a Mechanical Engineer at the University of Bristol and British Nuclear Fuels, then as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in both the UK and Canada. Following this he took roles in fast-growing SMEs in industries ranging from New Media to Food Retail, latterly working as FC/FD for a portfolio of clients. Through these various roles he has gained a wealth of commercial experience that helps him focus on the value that a Finance Department can bring to an organisation.
