Staff development and training

Staff development is fundamental to RSA’s success and exceptional internal opportunity is reflected in unusually low staff turnover. 5% of our salary bill is spent on staff training. Many Consultants are hired with little recruitment experience. RSA recognises these individuals’ potential and gives them the time, support and training necessary to become key employees.

We promote internally wherever possible and have many examples of staff progressing through multiple job functions, or taking on technical leadership or managerial responsibilities. Two thirds of our senior management team were promoted to their current roles and gained their first managerial experience with RSA.
