Confidential search for a Commercial Director for a provider of mobile operating theatres and wards to acute NHS hospitals, providing additional capacity either to cover refurbishments or waiting list initiatives. Required a proven sales leader with experience of professionalising and galvanising a disengaged and reactive sales and marketing team, introducing discipline, rigour and best-in-class sales and marketing techniques. Ideally looking for someone with PE experience, great track record of winning tenders, and strong relationships in NHS trusts.

Mapped all commercial teams of PE-backed healthcare providers, healthcare service companies, and broader B2B services. Pre-referenced the longlist extensively with CEOs and NHS trusts to gauge genuine value creation and commercial capability.
