Our client:

Baywater Healthcare is a small-cap supplier of home oxygen and teletherapies to patients with COPD and other chronic conditions. Ideally, they were looking for someone with experience of selling a range of contracts into CCGs and NHS hospital trusts, but also with the operational experience of mobilising those contracts and transferring them to the operations team

 

The challenge:

Mapping PE-backed healthcare providers, healthcare service companies, broader logistics, BPO, and facilities management. Particular focus on using PE investor network to identify exceptional candidates with the required level of commercial and strategic skills in addition to a degree of operational background. Identified a longlist made up of commercial operators, and sales directors with mobilisation experience, in order to pinpoint the most flexible, rounded candidates for a step-up to Board level

 

How our approach made a difference:

Placed Di Gray, former Operations Director at Alliance Medical. Having developed and won a number of substantial tenders in her first 12 months with the company, the candidate was promoted to the role of Operations Director. Baywater grew well and exited very successfully for Duke Street within three years.
