Nick Stephens

Nick Stephens is our Executive Chairman. He pioneered our unique Data Driven Due Diligence® methodology; with the goal of minimising risk and maximising upside when building and developing boards and executive leadership teams. For four decades, he and his team at RSA have helped build hundreds of companies, bringing new therapies to patients everywhere. His daily conversations with industry leaders across the world have brought him unique insights into what works where; perhaps more importantly – what will add risk.

Jo Pisani

Jo Pisani is a management consultant and Chartered Engineer with three decades of senior commercial experience. After graduating in Physics from Bristol University, she began her career at BP, later spending eight years at SmithKline Beecham (now GSK) and holding a senior strategy role at Booz Allen Hamilton. Until 2019, Jo was a partner at PwC Strategy, leading the 500-person UK Pharma and Life Sciences practice.

Graham Kilby

Graham Kilbey is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience in corporate tax. He spent 25 years at KPMG advising major international companies—including Tesco, Sky, and Alliance Boots—and acted as an expert witness for HMRC. Graham was the original advisor to Roger Stephens Associates when it was founded in 1981, joining the Board in 2001. He also serves as a non-executive director of Capital Physio and a trustee director for the Arcadia pension scheme.

Kristian Jürgensen

Kristian Jürgensen returned to RSA as Managing Partner in May 2019, progressing to Chief Commercial Officer and Board member in December 2019. Based across Frankfurt, Basel, and London, he ensures all organisational functions align to meet strategic commercial objectives and drive growth. Listening closely to clients, Kristian champions continuous process improvement to ensure exceptional service. He brings over 18 years of consulting experience, including roles as Partner at two global Executive Search firms.

Matt Ryans

Matt Ryans joined The RSA Group in 2021 as CFO. With over 20 years’ experience supporting growing businesses, he works directly with boards to develop growth strategies and analyse performance. His expertise in professional services and the life sciences sector is key to helping RSA navigate its ongoing global expansion.

Dr Andy Theodorou

Dr Andy Theodorou, Partner, combines a research background in neuropharmacology with over 20 years of global executive search experience. He places senior executives across all life sciences functions—from discovery R&D to commercial management—specialising in data sciences, bioinformatics, and market access. His deep expertise in oncology and neuroscience has built a vast global network. He holds a BSc and PhD in Pharmacology and is a member of the British Pharmacological Society.

Ollie Stephens

Ollie Stephens is part of our Talent Acquisition team, supporting global assignments and providing essential market intelligence for both consultants and clients. His diligent, inquiring approach is invaluable to our in-depth research and analysis processes. Ollie holds a First-Class Honours degree in Sociology and Social Policy, and a master’s in Social Research, specialising in Drug Policy. Having previously held leadership and research roles at university, he is focused on learning from top life science leaders through RSA's assignments and projects.

Stephen Paul

Stephen Paul joined RSA after many years as a business professional and leader. He successfully built, managed, and sold his own businesses before transitioning to executive search. Throughout his career, Stephen has developed a deep understanding of client objectives and processes to facilitate successful outcomes. Based in Spain, he brings a valuable European perspective and commercial expertise to our Talent Acquisition team.

Nikki Paul

Nikki Paul joined the RSA team in 2021 as a researcher; since then, she has proven to be an asset to our process across multiple searches. She has had a range of senior administrative roles in various companies including a London Publishing House, a law firm, and even a new entrant to the energy supply market; giving her a diverse range of skills across several area. Now, she’s enjoying putting these experiences to use within our business.

Lois Stephens

Lois Stephens has over 30 years’ experience in executive support across sectors including private banking, recruitment, and IT. Known for her professionalism and efficiency, she provides meticulous administrative, travel, and diary support to the Executive Chairman and Board to help deliver their strategic and operational objectives.

Clara Schäfer

Clara Schäfer is the foundation of our German and Swiss office. As Executive Assistant, she handles much of our European based communications and administration. She works closely with our London Office maintaining consistency across logistical and financial systems processes between RSA’s global offices. Clara also helps with our German and Swiss focused client documentation as well as supporting with Market Intelligence and the Interim side of our business.

Sarah Hinchliffe

Sarah Hinchliffe initially joined Roger Stephens & Associates in 1994, where she developed training programmes, coordinated marketing, and implemented SOPs. After working as PA to the Head of Finance at the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC) and PA to the Managing Partner at McLagan Partners, she re-joined The RSA Group in 2005 where she has since served as a Senior Project Assistant.

Dave Hart

David Hart joined RSA in June 2017 to support our finance operations. He has 30 years’ experience working in finance, most recently as a Finance Manager at Claude Lyons Limited, where he reported directly to directors and shareholders. His expertise includes rationalising internal finance systems and administering payroll and company pension schemes.
